Product Description
Dairy cattle and buffaloes require various dietary mineral elements to maintain normal bodily functions, support growth, and facilitate reproduction. These minerals are categorized into two main groups: major or macro elements, which are needed in relatively large quantities, and micro, minor, or trace minerals, which are required in smaller amounts.
The major minerals comprise Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Chlorine, and Sulphur, while the trace minerals include Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Iodine, Cobalt, and Selenium. A deficiency in these minerals can impair metabolic functions, affecting growth in young calves and milk production and reproductive efficiency in adult animals.
Therefore, supplementing with bio-available minerals through mineral mixtures is crucial, as animals cannot synthesize these minerals internally.
